New Mount Prospect Photography Studio Location
The new Mount Prospect photography studio is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Heartwritten Photography.
After more than 10 years of photographing newborns, babies, and families in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, Heartwritten Photography is preparing for a new chapter — a new photography studio in downtown Mount Prospect, Illinois.
My photography studio is moving from Arlington Heights to 139 W Prospect Ave in downtown Mount Prospect, Illinois.
The new studio is only 1.6 miles from my current Arlington Heights location — about a 4–5 minute drive via Northwest Highway — making the move easy and familiar for my returning families.
New Photography Studio in Downtown Mount Prospect
The new Heartwritten Photography studio will be located at 139 W Prospect Ave, Mount Prospect, IL 60056, in the heart of downtown Mount Prospect.
The studio sits directly between Lady Dahlia and Mia’s Cantina, just steps from the Mount Prospect Metra station and surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, and local businesses.
The downtown location was one of the reasons I fell in love with this space. Families coming for a newborn, maternity, or family photography session can grab coffee, enjoy lunch, or explore downtown Mount Prospect before or after their time at the studio.
More Than Just a New Address
This move is not about “starting over.”
It’s about creating a space that better supports the photography experience I’ve spent more than 10 years building for newborns, babies, and families.
The new Mount Prospect photography studio is being designed with families in mind — with larger shooting areas, dedicated newborn setups, a comfortable parent waiting space, and more room to create natural, timeless portraits.
For me, the studio experience has always been about more than taking beautiful photographs. I want parents to feel comfortable, children to have space to settle in, and newborn sessions to move at a calm, baby-led pace.
Every detail of the new studio is being planned intentionally to create a warm and welcoming photography space for families.
Still Close to Home
Although the studio is moving to Mount Prospect, sessions will continue in Arlington Heights while the new location is under construction.
The transition is intentionally staying close to the same area so current and returning clients can continue enjoying the same experience and convenience they’re familiar with — just with an exciting new chapter ahead.
A Studio Built With Families in Mind
As renovations continue, the new space is slowly transforming into the warm, neutral photography studio I’ve dreamed about creating for years.
The new Mount Prospect studio is being designed specifically for newborn photography, maternity sessions, family portraits, and baby milestone photography — with every detail planned around comfort, simplicity, and a calm experience for families.
The baby-led approach and natural, timeless style families know from my newborn photography sessions will remain the same, now in a space designed even more intentionally around babies and parents.
